Fernando has been a fashion designer, retail merchandiser, costume and stage designer, model, ballet dancer, and the youngest Saks Fifth Avenue store manager in the company's history.
He held several positions in New York's fashion industry, before moving to Milan, Italy to head a fashion buying office.
Upon his return to New York, using his Italian connections he introduced "Made In Italy by Fernando Franca" to great success at his former employer Saks Fifth Avenue.
After a few years, the company evolved into a knitwear category and was carried by the best specialty stores in the country.
Searching for a slower pace, Fernando relocated to the Delaware Valley and opened a self-named interior design firm.
For many years he was a part of Raymour and Flanigan Furniture Company.
Although interior design was rewarding, he missed his first love......fashion.
The impetus for this site was to create a place where home style and fashion could come together in one, so FERNANDO STYLE was born.
